Heads up: Medicaid/CHIP payments delayed due to holidays
As usual, there will be a one-day delay in Medicaid payment to pharmacy providers due to Memorial Day. 
  • Payment for Medicaid claims submitted May 21-27 will be paid Thursday, June 3, rather than Wednesday, June 2. 
  • The next Medicaid claim payment will resume on the regular cycle.  
There will be two one-day delays in CHIP payments to pharmacy providers:
  • Payment for CHIP claims submitted May 14-20 will be paid Thursday, May 27. 
  • Because of Memorial Day, payment for CHIP claims submitted May 21-27 will be paid Thursday, June 3, rather than Wednesday, June 2.
  • The next CHIP claim payment will resume on the regular cycle. 
 
All payable Medicaid, Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP), Kidney Health Care (KHC), and Children with Special Health Care Needs (CSHCN) Services Program claims will be processed and paid weekly. The weekly payment cycle begins at 12 a.m. Friday and ends at 11:59 p.m. the following Thursday.
